FAQ

What does a forward deployed engineer do?+

Works directly with customers to make a product work in their environment: understanding the problem, integrating systems and data, building AI features and getting them into production.

Is this for developers only?+

You need to be comfortable writing code (Python is used). Strong communication matters as much, and the course practises customer conversations and demos.

Are the classes live or recorded?+

Live with a trainer. Session recordings are shared with you for revision, so you can catch up if you miss a class.

Will the batch times suit my time zone?+

Batches run in Australian evenings and weekend mornings (Sydney/Melbourne time; Perth is 2–3 hours earlier). Tell us your city and we'll confirm the slot that suits you best.

Do I get a certificate?+

Yes, a SOTT certificate of completion. Vendor exams (CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, CNCF and others) are booked and paid with the provider, and we prepare you for them.
